For entry to the School in Years 4-9, application is by online registration only. No late applications are considered.
The number of Scholarships awarded each year is dependent upon the quality of the applicants and the availability of places.
Scholarships covering partial fees will be offered. Tenures vary, and the Scholarships do not cover the cost of books, stationery or uniforms.
A Scholarship may be withdrawn if the Headmaster is not satisfied with the diligence or conduct of the holder.
Scholarships Available for Entry to the School in 2011
A. Academic
Boys entering Years 4 to 9 inclusive. Applications close Wednesday, 10 February 2010 and examinations will be conducted on Saturday, 20 February 2010. Application is by online registration only.
B. Music Scholarships
Boys entering Years 5 to 9 inclusive - for players of Orchestral Strings, French Horn, Lower Bass and advanced pianists who wish to study the Organ. Applications close Wednesday, 10 February 2010 and auditions will be conducted on Monday, 22 February 2010. Click here to download an application form.
C. St. Andrew`s Church Choir Scholarships
Boys entering Years 4 to 6 inclusive. Applications close Wednesday, 10 February 2010 and auditions will be conducted on Wednesday, 24 February 2010. Click here to download an application form.
D. General Excellence Scholarships
Boys entering Years 7 to 11 inclusive.

Interviews to be held on Saturday, 13 March 2010. Not all applicants will be interviewed
Applications close Wednesday, 3 March 2010.
Current students of BrightonGrammar School are not eligible for this Scholarship.
E. The Mark John Comport Scholarship
This Scholarship is available for a boy with a physical disability to enter our Junior School.
It is tenable until the end of Year 12, and is means tested.
